(Neil Lambert) One of the aspirations of Summit to Sea is to co-create an integrated land and seascape scale collaboration that delivers multiple benefits for local communities and the economy along with enhancing/restoring biodiversity. Whilst the project team can work on this through an engagement approach, the aspiration spans from the heights of the northern Cambrian mountains out into Cardigan Bay so cuts across the Mid-Wales Area Statement to the Marine Area Statement. We discussed many of the challenges/ways of approaching this under the coastal squeeze topic in terms of differing view points, securing meaningful engagement from the right stakeholders and having a holistic/strategic approach that considered relevant drivers/mechanisms/considerations.
