how is the council supporting hte community to engage / the board meetings?How can we need to make it easier for people to engage when it's not part of their 'day job' or they work FT or are time poor for other reasons (e.g. childcare)?
Ken I agree, the Dutch and others world-wide are using some innovative methods in flood defence including "working with nature" and "room for the river" schemes.
There's been work on relocating communities as communities for FCERM and other reasons (e.g. mine risk) that we can learn from elsewhere... the community involved with planning the new community...
